Squamous cell carcinoma of the renal pelvis

      Abstract

      A classic case of unsuspected squamous cell carcinoma of the renal pelvis is presented. The association with calculi and generally poor prognosis are documented. A high index of suspicion, angiography, and urine cytologic studies may improve the diagnostic and therapeutic results.
